BuyRealEstateData
We built this so someone can search US homes and the agent on each one. Our team keeps it current: new homes are added every day, and nobody uploads a file.
buyrealestatedata.com ↗- Customer: Someone who needs US homes and the agent on each one.
- Problem: A home list goes stale, and a person has to upload a new file.
- Solution: A search of 9.8 million properties and 1 million agents across 50 states.
- Outcome: New homes are added every day. Nobody uploads a file.
- Strategic win: A team can look up a house and who to call without building the list.
Someone needed every US home, and the agent on it, without a spreadsheet.
Listing sites change all day. A house can be for sale at breakfast and under contract by dinner. Copying that by hand for 50 states never stays current.
Why it was hard
A house can be for sale at breakfast and under contract by dinner. If we tried to type those changes in for 50 states, the site would always be late. So we built the update to run on its own.
- 9.8 million rows is not something a person can type in
- For sale alone is still over 2.1 million, and that is only one filter
- The agent's email has to stay on the right house, or the list is just photos
- Rent, for sale by owner, sold, and commercial have to live in the same search
What you get
- ✓9,832,041 property records you can filter today
- ✓1,020,290 agent profiles, searchable by name, state, or who sold the most
- ✓For sale, rent, for sale by owner, sold, commercial, and home type, including single family
- ✓The website, the map, and a data door other sites can use all read the same daily update
Find a home
We built the search so people can filter the way they already talk: for sale, for rent, for sale by owner, sold, or commercial. Then single family, condo, townhouse, multi-family, or land. State, city, ZIP, beds, price, size, or the map.
Open the property search →Find the agent
We kept agents in their own directory, not a name buried on the listing. Brokerage, city, email, and phone. You can sort by most sales, or by who has the most homes listed right now.
Open the agent directory →Use it somewhere else
We also made a data door, which is a way another website can ask for the same homes, and a WordPress plugin so a publisher can show them. Everyone else can browse, or download a small spreadsheet sample before paying.
See the live site →We add new homes every day. Nobody uploads a file.
Each day our job adds houses that were not on the site yesterday, and refreshes the ones already there: for sale or not, the price, the photos, and the agent's name, email, and phone. For sale, rent, for sale by owner, sold, and commercial all ride that same run. Sort by newest listed only works because we keep those dates moving.
